SARMAC 2023で研究成果を発表してきました
2023年8月9-12日に名古屋ガーデンパレスを会場として開催されたSARMAC XIV 2023で研究成果を発表してきました。SARMACとはThe Society for Applied Research in Memory and Cognitionのことで、記憶と認知に関する応用研究の国際学会です。
今回は学生の釣由美さんとの共同研究成果として8月12日の口頭発表セッション（Paper Session: Aging and Memory Impairment)で A case study of how memory decline in dementia depends on the environment というタイトルで発表をしてきました。以下にアブストラクトを載せておきます。
A case study of how memory decline in dementia depends on the environmentAlthough there is a growing body of research on technology-based support for psychological and behavioral symptoms of dementia (BPSD), challenges remain in optimizing the use of technology. BPSD in dementia changes depending on the situation and is affected by even minor changes in daily life. However, few findings have examined in detail the behavioral changes resulting from these environmental changes. This study aimed to clarify the circumstances and environmental changes that cause memory- related behavioral changes by interviewing older adults and their families.
